Animal Farm by George Orwell is a thought-provoking novel about a group of farm animals who stand-up against their human owner in hopes of creating a fair society for themselves. At first, the animals work together for equality, but over time the pigs gain power and become just as oppressive as the humans they replaced.
I enjoyed the book because it has an interesting plot and important themes about politics. Orwell uses animals to represent real historical events, making the story meaningful. Although some parts can be sad and frustrating, the novel sends a strong message about how power can change people. And sometimes we can turn into things we absolutely hate to. Overall, Animal Farm is a memorable book that pushes readers to think about society and government.
