Valentine’s Treats

Three valentines recipes to celebrate a day full of love

Chocolate strawberries 

Ingredients:

1 Container Strawberries 

2 cups chocolate chips 

2.5 tbsp coconut oil 

 

  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and wash strawberries
  2. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in a double boiler
  3. Dip the strawberries into the chocolate and place on parchment paper
  4. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving 

Candy Heart Bark 

Ingredients:

6 oz white candy melts 

6 oz pink candy melts

6 oz choc chips

1tbs coconut oil 

1 box of candy hearts 

⅓ cup sprinkles 

 

  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper
  2. Melt white candy melts and pink candy melts separately in the microwave on increments of 20 secs, stirring between each until melted
  3. Melt chocolate chips the same way, but after melted add coconut oil and stir until melted
  4. Spread chocolate chips over parchment paper in a thin layer
  5. Drizzle candy melts over the chocolate until you run out
  6. Sprinkle candy hearts, and sprinkles over top to decorate
  7. Refrigerate until hardened

Valentines cookies 

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar 

1 cup brown sugar 

2 sticks of softened butter 

2 eggs

1 tsp baking powder

Pinch of salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups flour 

M&M pink, red, and white

 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Beat together butter and sugars until fluffy.
  3. Add in eggs and vanilla and beat until combined
  4. Add flour, baking powder, and salt and mix till combined.
  5. Spoon one tbsp of dough into rows on the parchment paper
  6. Place M&M’s on top of dough in patterns.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden brown.
  8. Allow to coolbefore serving
