Journalism is an integral piece in every society across the globe as it is how people stay informed and allows underrepresented and minority stories to be told and heard, and most importantly holds the truth. I chose to join C-Mag specifically because I am passionate about art and advocacy for social justice issues and C-Mag includes both aspects. C-Mag allows me to explore my creativity. What I love about C-Mag is that it is a well-rounded and diverse community where you can collaborate with everyone and share ideas and opinions. In my free time, I love spending time with my friends and family and visiting places to learn about different cultures. I want to take what I learn from being in the publication to pursue a future where I can continue to advocate for change.
