Waffle Wonderland
< 1 MIN READ

As the end of the year approaches, so does Christmas. Desserts are a staple in the holiday season, they can carry a sense of tradition, and a touch of sweetness to the celebrations. This unique, simple recipe is perfect for any Christmas events!

What you’ll need to get started:

  • Pancake or waffle mix
  • Green food coloring
  • Whipped cream
  • Sprinkles
  • One egg
  • 2 cups of water

Steps:

  • Take pancake mix or waffle mix
  • Add one egg
  • Add 2 cups of water
  • Mix all together
  • Add green food coloring, remembering to mix between each drop to get the color you want
  • Place batter on waffle iron, consistently checking to see when it is fully cooked. If you’re making pancakes, pour batter on stove and cook for 2-3 minutes
  • After removed, cut into shapes of triangles
  • Put whipped cream on top and bottom of the first triangle, only on bottom for the rest of the tree
  • Stack triangles, top of triangle under the bottom of the triangle above
Add sprinkles of choice and enjoy!
