Matcha No. 3 Gelato
With a more bitter profile, this matcha gelato delivers a bold, distinct matcha taste that stands out as the strongest among all the items I tried. Topped with fresh matcha powder, it’s best suited for those who enjoy a slightly bitter, less sweet flavor. 6/10
Soft Serve
A swirl of Matcha and Hokkaido Milk flavors topped with Korean popcorn, this soft serve offers a more subtle taste. The sweetness of the milk balances the bitterness of the matcha, creating a harmonious flavor. The sweet Korean popcorn adds a fun texture, making it a unique treat. 7/10
Strawberry Matcha Latte
For a more classic matcha drink, the strawberry matcha latte is a great choice. The matcha foam on top and strawberry puree at the bottom blend beautifully. The matcha flavor isn’t overpowering, and the sweetness of the strawberry complements it perfectly, bringing together the contrasting flavors nicely. 7.5/10
Matcha Latte with Foam
A more traditional option, the Matcha Latte was probably my favorite. The foam on top has a creamy, almost ice-cream-like texture with a hint of cream cheese flavor. The matcha is slightly bitter, but the foam smooths it out without masking the matcha’s natural taste. 8.5/10
Hokkaido Cheese Tart
A twist on the Portuguese custard tart, this version strikes a perfect balance of creamy and crispy, with a subtle sweet cheese flavor. The thin crust allows the custard to shine, and I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was. This snack definitely exceeded my expectations. 8/10
Uji Matcha Cheese Tart
I also tried the matcha version of the tart, which offers a slightly more complex flavor. While it still carries the cheese flavor, the matcha complements it nicely. The matcha itself is mild and slightly sweet. Between the two tarts, I preferred the Hokkaido Cheese Tart, but for matcha lovers, the Uji Matcha Cheese Tart is a good option. 6.5/10
